What’s the recipe for a Hasidic symphony concert? 

Start with a great supply of the melodies of Rabbi Michel Twerski, scion of a Hasidic dynasty and a Milwaukee-based rabbinic figure renowned world-wide for his counseling, teaching, and music. Rabbi Twerski’s songs, ranging from heart-felt ballads to marches, are sung throughout the Jewish world. They arise from a rich cultural background history and are filled with the sweet aromas of yearning souls.

Add the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, internationally recognized for its musical excellence.

Blend in arrangements by Yisroel Lamm, a widely known figure in Jewish music.

And set the results in the beauty of the newly renovated Bradley Symphony Center.

A first serving of this unusual musical entrée occurred in 1997. A capacity audience responded enthusiastically. A second concert of equal beauty took place at the Pabst Theatre in 2017, and many have wanted another serving ever since.

This concert will include newer music from Rabbi Twerski and new arrangements of some of his prior works.
